Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2024, Bulgaria's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.4% compared to 2023, reaching 91.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 87.8%.

Bulgaria ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.7% (from 88.8% in 2019).
