At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Croatia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 7.7% compared to 2020, reaching 21.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Croatia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.4% (from 20.4% in 2016).
