At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 11.2% compared to 2020, reaching 19.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Greece ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.6% (from 21.2% in 2016).
