Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Croatia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.1% compared to 2024, reaching 71.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 75.4%.

Croatia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.8% (from 67.3% in 2020).
