Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2021, Croatia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 0.8% compared to 2020, reaching 31.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.9%.

Croatia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.7% (from 28.3% in 2016).
