Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2021, Estonia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 24.2% compared to 2020, reaching 37.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.9%.

Estonia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 27.7% (from 29.2% in 2016).
