Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2021, Croatia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 5.9% compared to 2020, reaching 7.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Croatia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 473.5% (from 1.2% in 2016).
