In 2020, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 17.5% compared to 2019, reaching 8,936.

Croatia ranks 15th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 40.3% (from 14,968 in 2015).
