At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.5% compared to 2022, reaching 16.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Cyprus ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.5% (from 15.9% in 2018).
