Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Cyprus's population structure indicators at national level decreased by 0.5% compared to 2007, reaching 20.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.1.

Cyprus ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 19.9 in 2003).
