Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2025, Cyprus's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 0.3% compared to 2024, reaching 69.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 68.5%.

Cyprus ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.4% (from 70.9% in 2020).
