Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2024, Cyprus's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 1.0% compared to 2023, reaching 69.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 68.4%.

Cyprus ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.9% (from 70.0% in 2019).
