Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Czechia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.9% compared to 2023, reaching 69.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 66.2%.

Czechia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 68.1% in 2019).
