Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Czechia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 1.6% compared to 2023, reaching 5.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.2%.

Czechia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 26.8% (from 7.8% in 2019).
