Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Slovakia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 4.7% compared to 2023, reaching 9.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.2%.

Slovakia ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.7% (from 8.3% in 2019).
