In 2018, Denmark's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 14.5% compared to 2017, reaching 182,819.

Denmark ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 32.1% (from 269,086 in 2013).
