Population structure indicators at national level

In 2021, Denmark's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.7% compared to 2020, reaching 34.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 35.4.

Denmark ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.0% (from 32.3 in 2016).
