Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2025, Denmark's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 4.1% compared to 2024, reaching 58.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 68.5%.

Denmark ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.5% (from 59.3% in 2020).
