Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2016, Denmark's main indicators increased by 4.7% compared to 2015, reaching 53.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 30.2%.

Denmark ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 49.7% (from 35.9% in 2011).
