Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Denmark's main indicators increased by 5.7% compared to 2022, reaching 43.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Denmark ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 24.4% (from 35.2% in 2018).
