Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Portugal's main indicators increased by 1.4% compared to 2022, reaching 35.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Portugal ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.4% (from 30.2% in 2018).
