Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Sweden's main indicators increased by 0.2% compared to 2022, reaching 66.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.1% (from 53.9% in 2018).
