Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, Denmark's main indicators increased by 2.7% compared to 2018, reaching 7.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 8.8%.

Denmark ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.5% (from 6.6% in 2014).
