Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, Italy's main indicators increased by 18.1% compared to 2018, reaching 9.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 8.8%.

Italy ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 80.2% (from 5.0% in 2014).
