Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, Finland's main indicators increased by 0.5% compared to 2018, reaching 14.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 8.8%.

Finland ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 38.5% (from 24.1% in 2014).
