Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, France's main indicators increased by 3.2% compared to 2018, reaching 9.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 8.8%.

France ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.1% (from 8.2% in 2014).
