In 2014, Denmark's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 11.8% compared to 2013, reaching 69,637.

Denmark ranks 9th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 34.9% (from 106,972 in 2009).
