Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Denmark's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 7.7% compared to 2020, reaching 10.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Denmark ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.5% (from 12.2% in 2016).
