At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Croatia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.3% compared to 2023, reaching 37.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.6%.

Croatia ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.9% (from 30.1% in 2019).
