Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Estonia's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 0.9% compared to 2024, reaching 75.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 75.4%.

Estonia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.4% (from 75.8% in 2020).
