Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2020, Estonia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 28.6% compared to 2019, reaching 28.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.4%.

Estonia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 75.2% (from 16.2% in 2015).
