Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Estonia's share of energy from renewable sources decreased by 1.1% compared to 2009, reaching 0.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 5.5%.

Estonia ranks 26th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 84.3% (from 0.2% in 2005).
