Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Estonia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 8.7% compared to 2020, reaching 16.7%.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Estonia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.3% (from 14.0% in 2016).
