Fertility indicators

In 1990, Finland's fertility indicators increased by 4.1% compared to 1989, reaching 1.78.

Finland ranks 13th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.5% (from 1.64 in 1985).
