Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2025, Finland's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 1.8% compared to 2024, reaching 66.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 68.5%.

Finland ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.4% (from 70.7% in 2020).
