Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2024, Finland's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 1.6% compared to 2023, reaching 68.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 68.4%.

Finland ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.2% (from 71.1% in 2019).
