Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2020, Finland's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 3.9% compared to 2019, reaching 7,790.

Finland ranks 17th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 22.5% (from 10,051 in 2015).
