Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Finland's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 18.6% compared to 2020, reaching 17.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Finland ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.6% (from 20.5% in 2016).
