Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2009, France's main indicators increased by 5.1% compared to 2008, reaching 15.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

France ranks 14th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.5% (from 13.8% in 2004).
