Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, France's main indicators increased by 4.8% compared to 2018, reaching 17.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.9%.

France ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.6% (from 14.4% in 2014).
