Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, France's main indicators increased by 10.5% compared to 2022, reaching 22.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

France ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 37.1% (from 16.4% in 2018).
