Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2023, Luxembourg's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 0.2% compared to 2022, reaching 14.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Luxembourg ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 60.1% (from 8.9% in 2018).
