Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2025, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.7% compared to 2024, reaching 85.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 88.1%.

Italy ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.4% (from 80.9% in 2020).
