At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 6.0% compared to 2009, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.3%.

Germany ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.2% (from 13.4% in 2005).
