Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, France's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2008, reaching 28.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.4.

France ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 27.7 in 2004).
