At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.6% compared to 2022, reaching 17.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.4%.

Greece ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.2% (from 18.5% in 2018).
