At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 5.6% compared to 2023, reaching 18.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Greece ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.8% (from 17.7% in 2019).
