Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Greece's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.7% compared to 2023, reaching 72.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 75.3%.

Greece ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.3% (from 65.9% in 2019).
