Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Greece's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.0% compared to 2024, reaching 72.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 75.4%.

Greece ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.5% (from 65.2% in 2020).
