Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2009, Greece's main indicators increased by 14.2% compared to 2008, reaching 11.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Greece ranks 16th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 40.5% (from 7.8% in 2004).
